CARBON REDUCTION ACTION

Lighten Up, FrankfortLighten Up Frankfort "One-Pager" Reporting Form

Step 1: Choose Actions to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Review the actions and choose which ones are achievable by you. Commit to initiating the actions over the next 12 months. It is great if some of the actions are already part of your life. However, actions you choose should be new actions or expand your current efforts.

Further, we are asking that you adopt your actions as permanent habits. If you recycle one can, it's a great start, but a pretty minimal carbon reduction. If you set up a system to make sure that all your recyclable waste gets recycled and you stick with it, then you've made a significant dent in your carbon footprint.

The carbon reduction estimates you see on the menu are the pounds you would lose if you continued the action for a year.

Step 2: Share Your Results With Us (AND be eligible to win a prize!!)

Add up how many pounds you've lost and submit the form to us. We will add your greenhouse gas reductions to our community total. Remember to keep a copy for yourself.

Again, review the following menu of actions. Determine which NEW actions you will take. Then enter the pounds lost in the field provided by each numbered question.
